About Us

We are Beat Games, an indie game studio and makers of the hit game Beat Saber, based in Prague, Czech Republic and founded in 2018. Beat Saber is an immersive VR experience combining exclusively-made electronic dance music, precisely handcrafted levels and visually appealing virtual worlds.

We started as a team of 2 developers Jan Ilavsky, Vladimir Hrincar and a music guy Jaroslav Beck. Beat Saber’s development began in 2016 when we first played around with the basic concept of Beat Saber and realised... the prototype was a lot of fun! After several months of development, we showcased the game many times and to thousands of people. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Beat Saber originally released on May 1st 2018 on Steam and Oculus store. We’re a team of incredibly-passionate people who love what we do and are constantly working to make the Beat Saber experience even better for our amazing fans.

Beat Saber is now in Early Access and available for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality Headsets. We are so grateful for our incredible community. Thanks to them, our game quickly become a viral hit and is now one of the highest rated VR titles and best selling games on Steam and Oculus Store. Currently, we are also working on PS VR version which will be available in late 2018.

Our vision is to continue to create fun music and rhythm based immersive games for everyone across the world who likes to get up and dance.
